Can I bring my dog's bed and toys for daycare?
Although we don't mind if you do, we can not guarantee or be held responsible if you do not get items back in their original condition. Normal canine behavior includes urinating on objects some would like to claim as theirs.  Additionally we have a few guests who are still going through their chewing phase and patiently wait for the perfect moment to strike out and chew on an unsuspecting "woobie".  Unless your dog is visiting under special circumstances, we recommend leaving personal canine belongings at home.
Does my dog have to be spayed or neutered to join Tega K9 daycare?
In a nutshell, no. However, female dogs going through a heat cycle will need to stay home for approximately 3-4 weeks during that time.  Additionally, intact male dogs are more likely to be picked on and bullied by other dogs in group play due to their "status" which makes playing with others difficult and not always fun.  If we see your dog is being picked on, we will certainly let you know and do everything possible to make their time with us at Tega K9 fun and enjoyable for all involved.

Do you have any breed bans?
No, we do not ban any particular breeds, in fact we welcome all breeds and evaluate each dog on an individual basis.  However, we recognize that some breeds have tendencies to become easily over stimulated when lots of activity surrounds them. For these individuals we will generally recommend half days or just one or two visits per week.
